I cast, loaded and fired many thousands of the 357446, it needs to be pushed hard to maintain consistant accuracy and velocity. It just doesn't seem to work well in 38 Special. Mine dropped at 165 gr. from my alloy. I sized .358 and used it in Colt, Ruger and Smiff 357 revolvers. Healthy charge of 2400 worked well. Some speculate that the extra wide base band was a reason it needed to be pushed hard to work well. I don't know, I know that it was finicky. I finally gave up after 20 years and sold the mold. I now use 358156 for 357 and 357443 for 38 Special.
