I don't aim pocket pistols--

I point them-- sights on them are really for show..

IMHO...

I'm partial to the Keltec p3at, but I considered buying a pair of pt25's for my wife and daughter when the means presented themself.

I had one. I hated it, hated it, hated it. The only Taurus I've ever owned that I hated. It would not feed any type of ammunition. I got better results by using the flip up barrel as a slingshot to throw the round. I hated it. If yours works, great! The one I had was delta sierra. Every model has some bad ones in the group, but it was so bad that I would never own that model or the PT22 again.

Shaner,
The PT 25 is a great little gun as far as dependability goes. I had one for awhile and traded it for a .22 LR Berretta. The reason for the trade was that I saw 2 guys get shot with a .25 and both beat the tar out of the shooter. Niether time did the bullet penitrate past the ribcage. Also I like the external hammer version better, but that is just a personal deal and does not reflect on the gun itself. Now my mouse gun is a .22 mag mini-revolver due to the better ballistic of the mag round, even out of a short barrel. At 3-10 feet I can put all five rounds in about a 4" group and that or closer is the range they were designed for. Also, the first one out could be a rat shot, which will really mess up a two or four legged rats face at point blank range.
Here is a link to an article of Chuck Hawks that you might find interesting on concealed carry guns, including mouse guns.

Nothing against mouse guns, I suppose, but in the words of Massad Ayoob, "stay clean and major caliber" - your life may depend on it.

I always thought that 9mm was the smallest I would want to carry. But now with +P .380 loads, that is an option. :thumb:
