Can't keep the ants off my Jalapeno pepper plant, they keep eating the flowers. Hate having to use a pesticide on my plants. Any thoughts?
Great idea...when they fart it'll blow their asses off!But then again, ants who like peppers might prefer Tex-Mex style food.
Make some of that Texas style beanless chili, pour it around the plant and see if that doesn't scare them away!
Probably not the best idea to salt the peppers until after the harvestIf ya gotta deal with pest, ya might as well enjoy killing em.
If this works on fly's it otta do in ants...
Yes, and what doesn't kill them will make them stronger.:icon_rolleyes:But then again, ants who like peppers might prefer Tex-Mex style food.

They are not touching the cayenne pepper plant at all, might be worth a try.i have heard that spraying cayenne pepper juice on the plant will deter pests.
