I was checking out Shield's Sports this afternoon and found 2 more pistol powders in stock. I couldn't walk out empty handed so I bought a jar/can/bottle of IMR-hi score 700x. $19.99 for 14 oz. It can be used for 9mm, 38spc, 357mag, and 45acp.

I've never used any of that. I hope it works out well. Powder that is very popular is still a little slim around here but I am regularly seeing something on the shelf. Something is better than nothing.

Now I know for sure BPS overcharges. The 700-X I bought there was $32!

That is good stuff, clean burning and a good powder for .45acp or 9mm....

It works well, but does not meter very accurately in most powder measures.

Same problem with the Lee Perfect Powder Measure. Something about the fluffiness of the powder.
It is so darn lightweight.
Cannot get two throws in a row the same weight.
I started weighing each throw on my scale before loading it into the case.
