Very sad, A 7-year old, and his 4 year old and 13 year old were playing with a .22 pistol they thought was a toy. Last I heard he was in critical condition, I can't imagine if the boy dies. The brother that shot him will have to live with it for the rest of his life. I don't know about the parents or why they had access to the gun.Morristown boy accidentally shot; in critical condition | TriCities.com

Sad. Sad for all involved the Parents the bother and the injured kid.
Train early and often. If the kid is old enough to climb to get a cookie better teach gun safety

Terrible thing, prayers for the child and family. One of my grandsons has spent alot of time with us over the years , and he was stupid-stubborn, into everything, and often getting hurt doing things specificaly told not to do. Its hard. Hope the kiddo does well.

More than teaching 4, or 7, or 13 year olds gun safety...parents need to keep handguns inaccessible to children.

This was definitely un-called-for!
