Anybody got one? I read a lot of bad reviews on the net, and a few good ones. They are pretty pricey and I understand haven't been made since 2003. I think I'd go with a kel-tec for the .380, but the .45 is pretty appealing.
I looked into them a while back. The main thing that stuck in my head was the observation that the trigger pull weight increased along with the caliber. I don't know why, just that tidbit stuck in a crack. Along with the thought that getting parts and spare mags might be difficult.
Then again, I thought I heard recently that someone had brought them back into production. A little digging and I found it. Click on the AMT-Automag section and then scroll down about half way. 45acp, 38 Super, 9mm, 400 Corbon (ported barrel) and 380 listed. They appear to be a little on the heavy side but it the trigger is manageable and the prices are decent (MSRP is listed as $489 01-01-06) I'd go for it.
