Well, things might be looking up a bit. My order of 500 rounds of .223 from Midway shipped. It's been on order since August. When I ordered it, I ordered 1000 rounds, but I'll take what I can get. Midway has limited orders on ammo so that everyone can get some and no one can get it all. I agree with that philosophy. It'll be interesting to see if things are loosening up.

PS. No increase in price. Got the ammo for the price advertised in August.

I have 200 rounds of 223 on back-order since early January. They canceled the order after passage of the poorly named NYSAFE act, then realized that law still allowed me to order ammo from then, so they reinstated my order. Original ship date was to be 2/20. Still no ammo as of today.

Just left Walmart in Nashville 30 minutes ago and they had 3 cases of it. Two people were in line of course buying their 3 box limit.

I saw several boxes of it at the local LGS, along with some 22LR, 40 S&W, and 45 acp in bulk cans (250 rounds) and wait for it............ large pistol primers!! No huge markup either, limits to 500 rounds and 500 primers per visit.
