SO, just to add to your choices...I am a prolific shooter, club competitor and defense instructor in North Alabama. I bought my G2 at the NRA Annual meeting and never looked back. I am not recoil sensitive but I want to be able to make reasonably fast follow on shots. SO I tested my G2 with all different weights, including 147grn. Well, on a lark, I decided to see what the difference in recoil was between the 147grn HST and 147grn HST +P. The G2 liked the standard pressure stuff and shot to point of aim. SO I tried a mag full of +P and guess what? Only minimal increase in felt recoil. Not bad or punishing at all. I think the slightly fatter grip spreads the impulse across a broad enough area to make the recoil more than manageable. But the bonus was a 2.5 inch offhand group to point of aim at 20 yards. I installed TFX sights and put the rubber grip wrap on mine also. So I almost exclusively carry the G2 with 147grn +P HSTs on board. Why go fast when you can go faster? So 147grn +P HSTs for me thank you!
