I have Altamont Super Rosewood grips on both my S&W PPK/S-1 and Taurus Judge Magnum, and I love them.

I don't think you can go wrong with them, but it really all depends on the look you're going for.

I have Altamont's on my 85's. Best thing I ever did to them. That extra length for your pinky is well worth the time and effort to change the grips, even on a .38. I feel I have much better control with that extra length and the pinky on the grip.
