I love my AG IWB holsters but the belt clip screws keep loosening on their own, letting the clips swing loose until they could fall off. Who uses LocTite on those screws? I've hesitated as there may come a time that a clip breaks or the elastomer wears and I don't want to have to fight to get them loose again.

I have used Loc-tite on mine there are two types of Loc- tite Red permanant and blue that can be loosened at later date. I was having the same problem on one of my OWB holsters and the blue cured it right up. The Blue is medium strength and only requires a drop to help the retention of the screws.

I haven't had that problem with mine but I haven't had it long. I would suggest using the purple loctite #222. It's the lightest hold. It should do the trick but it's not that hard to break if you need to. I use it on a lot of my gun parts like sight screws etc.

All 4 of my Serpa holsters came with blue loc-tite on the threads of the screws. They stay secured but are easily removable when necessary.

I put an o-ring under all of the screws on my holsters.
The AG has an elastomer bushing which makes the belt clips and Kydex shell stand off about 1/8"...I figured that those bushings would help keep tension on the screws...but they don't.

Hello @Czechbikr,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! We do indeed recommend just a drop of Blue or Green Loctite on the screws to keep them from backing out. However, we have since made many improvements to our design that eliminates this issue altogether! With our new Cloak Tuck 3.5 holster, your clips are completely tool-less making adjusting the cant and ride height a breeze! Here is a link to give you a better idea of the modifications: Best IWB Holster | Inside the Waistband | AlienGearHolsters
