Welcome aboard! Nice cowboy carbine and caliber combo.
Nice purchase! 45 Caliber I presume?
No. Went with the .357 / .38
My favorite calibre of choice.

That's the caliber that I was looking for when I bought my Marlin 44 Magnum. The new ones were on backorder a few years ago and the pre-owned ones were being snapped by fast by Cowboy Action Shooters. Eagerly awaiting the range report!

Lucky dog! Can't wait to see the pics! Oh, welcome to the site BTW. ;)
Great rifles. With a little polishing, fitting and adjustments (all fairly easy and straight forward) these lever guns can be super smooth as well as great shooters.

Welcome and congrats on the buy.
Picked up on Wednesday. Fit & finish is good. Range report is next

That is a beauty!
I have the carbine, big loop, in .357. love it. Shoots well. I've used it out to 100 yards. It's more accurate than I am.
I will be picking up a Rossi 92 .357 Mag. 20" Stainless monday from my LGS here in KY.

That is a good price. Another store sent a promo email yesterday showing a price drop from $650 to $600 plus $15 shipping. The same 357 magnum, 20" SS, standard lever model 92.
Thanks . I have yet to shoot it. Probably thanksgiving break. Had to have it.
