I went to Academy today with some money in my pocket(always a bad idea). Academy is having a 2 for 1 deal. Get a G2 or a G2C, and get a free Heritage 22 pistol or the Rossi 22 rifle. I got the G2, in what Academy called, "leather-brown", and got the Heritage 22, 6 inch barrel, with a pearl brown grip.
They had the pistols priced at $289, which I think is a little high, but you were getting a freebie with it. With local taxes, I was out the door with 2 brand new pistols for about $320.
BTW, the label on the G2 has a date of 1-11-2017, and the box contained the card that said I had a lifetime warranty. The Heritage has a card saying it's just a 1 year warranty on it.
I thought it was a pretty good deal. Of course, I'll be cleaning the grease and oil off the guns for the next few days. It's too hot to go to the range anyway.

Good Deal, Heritage Arms is owed by Taurus.. you may know that. About three years ago, I actually was able to buy the Heritage Rough Rider for $99.00 on a black friday holiday deal with only the .22LR cylinder, I bought the .22 MAG cylinder a few weeks ago from ebay. It's a really great gun.
