Please go to the FAQs board and read those over. Then go to the Other Taurus guns board and read all the old and new threads that pertain tothe PT92. That'll bring you up to speed and give you something to do until the PT92 crowd shows up.

The FAQs and Smithing section have PT92 data as well.

Let me rephrase that. That's the title of the board here for other guns that are Taurus. Not other Taurus forums somewhere else on the internet.

I put a little addition on your welcome introduction if you care to take a look. At least a reply to your introduction to here.

This may be more for the public here than for you. Please take the gun apart,clean, and lube it prior to going to a CCW class. Then take the gun to the range and run a couple hundred rounds through it for break in and personal familiarity with that particular gun.

A couple extra mags for the class would also help.

We've had members who did not do any of this,went to class, and then were totally distraught over losing the money for the class and p.o.ed at the guns performance.

Expecting things to work out well without breaking the gun in like a new car's engine or becoming familiar with the guns vagaries can cause much grief down the road if not done.

Jim,glad to hear all that. I figured that not only do classes and general shooting might be needing extra mags, but for IDPA,bullseye, or some other form of competition might be a possibility later on.

Can never have enough ammo or mags.
