My wife is getting me a S&W-69 4.25" for my birthday. Her birthday is two weeks after mine. I'm thinking a 3" S&W 60 that matches mine, and a weekend in the mountain cabin.
A woman like that deserves to choose her own firearm. Take her to your LGS as a surprise on her Birthday and ask her to select one of her own, that way it's part of the occasion, and she can pick the firearm she likes best.
