A Curve for the left handed...

I have looked at the curve and like it but it is just funky for left handers. Wish Taurus wouldn't have left (pun intended) out.

IF you have the old steam radiators in your house maybe you could lay it on one of them overnight and see if it will curve the other way?

It's all about numbers, guessing a left handed only gun would not be a big seller. Therefore they would be expensive or the company would not make a profit. I know Charter Arms makes a left handed revolver which I would guess has more appeal than a Curved Semi-Auto. Last I checked they did not expand the left handed revolver to more models telling me it may not be a big seller. Since they still carry the one left handed model I'm guessing they are at least selling some. At some point they should break even and start turning a profit unless the floor space the equipment takes up could be put to more profitable use.

I'd like to see a company come up with a reverse-able semi-auto where you could flip over the bolt internals and move an ejection port shield to have it eject either left or right depending on the shooter.

Left handedness may, in fact, be a beneficial attribute to lap steel playing. Doesn't the right hand just play with the puck, or whatever it's called...:D

A puck?
Oh dear.

I learned to play guitar right handed because 60 years ago a left handed guitar was basically non-existent.
See how abused I was?
I learned to play lap steel right handed as a carry over from traditional guitar.
And no I don't use a puck.
I use a thumb pick and the fingernails of the 1st 3 fingers of my right hand.
My left hand holds a tone bar.
My lap holds the guitar and a chair holds my butt.

You may have been thinking of hockey.
I played a lot of hockey when I was younger.
We had pucks everywhere.

What is a "lap steel"?

It's something you don't use a "puck" on.

I, of course, stand corrected. "Puck" just kind of leapt into mind as a generic term for a hunk of inert material. When I require a similar reference from now on I shall employ "tone bar"...

LOL! That ah boy! ;)
I'm left-handed and so is my cousin. He bought a left-handed AR15 (left-hand ejection port and all) and let me fire a couple magazines through it.....

....I handed it right back to him and said NO THANKS.

Muscle memory is a real thing.

True, I don't change mag releases when possible. I leave them all right handed because of muscle memory....and to show up them smug righties

Hmmmm...
It's interesting, that I help out at some conceal carry classes, and surprised how many left handed people try to shoot right handed. Especially when they find out they are left eye dominate.

I fixed a newbie a couple of months ago. A lady kept looking over her pistol. I talked to her for a bit, found out she was a south paw and got her corrected. Her husband/boyfriend got mad at me for correcting her. 20 minutes later she was out shooting him and started to have fun. It wasn't long after that, he asked me what was he doing wrong. :D

Personally I think there should be more ambidextrous offerings on the market.

Yea... That is a very old and deep bias. Knowing that the word for right in Latin is "Dexter", as in dexterity, or ambi-dexterous (which literally means both or 2 right hands) and the word for left is "Sinister" kinda tells you all you need to know about how long that bias has been going on.

I've broken my right hand twice (I'm right-handed) and learned to do everything with my left. My handwriting isn't as good but I can get it all done. The very hardest part to learn how to do with your non-dominant hand?

You'll never guess:

Wiping your backside. I never fully got good at that. I'll spare more detail.
Dexter kills serial killers with either hand.

As for the Curve, just turn it around! :D Seriously, I wish Taurus would just straighten the thing out. Ditto for the View, its a big pair.
Wait, isn't a Spectrum a straight Curve?

My wife just switched to left handed pistol shooting. Something to do with her vision.
