A 651 revolver question please.

I just purchased a 651 titanium revolver. When I checked the Taurus website the 651 ti revolver they show is ported (mine is not) and the 651 they show has a fixed rear site mine has a adjustable (windage) rear site. Is my 651 a newer or older version than the one they have pictured on their website?

I'm sorry, I don't see "ported". http://www.taurususa.com/products/product-details.cfm?id=270&category=Revolver# nor do I see an adjustable sight.
Where did you get your gun? Do you have a picture?
I don't see the point of an adjustable sight on a two inch gun.
I could be wrong but I see what looks to be 3 ports located just below and near the front sight in the picture on their website. Yes the revolver in that pic does not have an adjustable rear sight like the one I have...that is why I was/am confused...is my 651 a different model? version?

BTW...My rear sight is just a simple tiny flat blade that is milled into the top of the frame and is adjusted by a very small screw head located on the side of the top strap. Exactly like a .22 cal ruger sp-101 revolver.

I agree an adj rear site is not very practical on a snub this size.

I'm going to say newer from the sight. I think they've only been out a year or two.

Here's a pic of my 651 titanium revolver. The small adj. rear sight.
