Ammo categories include a wide variety of grades, types, brands and lot sizes.
Reloads are excluded - report includes only new ammo. Custom, frangible, lead-free and other non-standard types also excluded.
Average price is computed only on ammo available for purchase.

The number of in-stock ammo SKUs is flat for today. Ball ammo is up a little, Hollow Points are flat, as are Remanufactured rounds. A number of SKUs of ball ammo went dry, which indicates that the supply chain is still limited and demand remains high. When we see in-stock SKUs go up above 100 that will be a real portend of change in the market, but for now the shelves are staying fairly empty. Kudos to dealers like Natchez who haven't jacked up their prices. Cheaper Than Dirt is the ugliest profiteer among the Big Internet Dealers. Let the folks at Natchez know you appreciate them.

Someone registered the domain "cheaperthangold.com" and pointed it at CheaperThanDirt's website, an ingenious commentary on the avaricious toerags who run CTD. They obviously see their customers as prey to be devoured rather than folks they want to create value for.

As always, I'm looking at 9mm because that's what I'm interested in, and I'm only tallying factory new FMJ and JHP rounds. No remanufactured, lead-free, frangible, primer only or other custom rounds, just new 9mm commodity ammo. Don't like the choice? Make your own report.
