Ammo categories include a wide variety of grades, types, brands and lot sizes.
Reloads are excluded - report includes only new ammo. Custom, frangible, lead-free and other non-standard types also excluded.
Average price is computed only on ammo available for purchase.

Apologies for the mixup in the subject line for yesterday's report!

The number of vendors with in-stock ammo is flat for today. Slight drop for ball ammo, slight bump for hollow points. Nothing else that looks noteworthy.

As always, I'm looking at 9mm because that's what I'm interested in, and I'm only tallying factory new FMJ and JHP rounds. No remanufactured, lead-free, frangible, primer only or other custom rounds, just new 9mm commodity ammo. Don't like the choice? Make your own report.

36.50 for a box of 50 like UMC? That is beyond outrageous. I ran into .380 Auto by UMC for 19.55/50. I snagged the three boxes with the old price. The newer stock was marked at 22.50.

On Vacation in Sarasota Florida and a LGS offered me 50 rounds of 40s&w WWB for $79.50 !!!!!!! He was out of his mind but obviously has regular locals with money willing to pay that ! On another note they had over 30 ARs on the wall all different configurations for no less than $1,595 and on up ! I for one will remember these gougers when the prices will eventually level down !
