I am thinking of making my next wheel gun a model 94 with the 2" barrel. My question is how accurate are they? I already have a Ruger GP 100 4" and that is dead on. I want a plinker as well as a snubbie so I was thinking the 94 would be the best of both worlds. PLease let me know if you guys have them and how you feel the accuracy of a 2" barrel is.

Thanks

I don't have a .22 in 2", but I can tell ya, for my eyes, the sight radius limits MY accuracy, not the guns. I can't typically group better than 3" off a bench at 25 yards with a 2" J frame. Add an inch to the barrel and I have gotten half that group size in accurate guns.

3" ain't a bad group from any handgun really, just that you ain't gonna do much effective squirrel hunting with a gun like that. But, for what I carry my .38 snub for, even shooting a rabbit now and then or the head off a snake at close range, it'll gitter dun. Certainly plinking is fun with such accuracy even at 25 yards. :D
