IB = In box? In blued? In bubbles? In bronze???????

The 905 revolver is not a easily found Taurus revolver and I would be shocked if it's still in production?

I have seen them on sale for low $400 range new in SS (Stainless steel).

Oh you mean the 905 Instant Back-up. ;)

Yeah I don't know what the IB designation is either. A 905 in good shape will make somewhere between $300 and $400.

Okay, well I still say you would normally pay $300-$400 for the 905, no matter what flavor.

That's what mine is. I love that you can't snag the hammer inside your pocket or on whatever else, but you do only get double-action in trade for it. For me, that was a huge positive. I have not seen one like mine since I bought it, tho. Good luck, it's an awesome gun.

I agree with Texas Guy--the model costs about the same as the regular 905. For some people, it's not a positive, but it is more rare. I think Taurus still makes the 905, but not sure about the bobbed hammer/DA version.
On the Taurus website it still listing the 905 as available
currently none of the ones for sale on gunbroker are 905IB version.
