Hi all,
Well I got to the range today and finally got to shoot my new 850 38. I can put it simply. I LOVE THIS GUN!. I realized how much I like and miss revolvers. This gun was great. I was not very accurate with it. But it was me. I know when I got a good shot off and it was either right in or very close to bullseye. What a great gun. I am going to get another 38. Maybe a 85. I have another brands small 9mm I shot for the first time today. I HATED IT! I only shot 10 rounds and was done with it. I will save my 9mm ammo for my Ruger SR9, which I also love. So I will take that "other" gun and go trade it in on a 85 I think.

Funny thing was I shot better doing fast fire with it than I did slow fire. As quick as I could get the sights back inline I would fire. The quicker I did it the better I shot to POA. Go figure. I am glad I have some holsters for this 850 so I can carry this great gun. I would highly recommend this gun.

Congratulations on your new M 850 Bill. :)

If you have pictures or can take some, that'd be fantastic. We greatly appreciate Taurus revolver pictures on the board. ;D

Re: 850 Range Report w/ Picture

OK. Here is a shot I just took of her. I thought I was the only one who liked pictures of revolvers.

Thanks. I love it. I am going tomorrow to see about trading in another gun on another 38. Maybe a 85. Maybe a ultralight. We will see what kind of deal they will give me. Might have a brother for it soon.

Very nice indeed, thank you for sharing. :D Actually there are a few here who love gun pics, either viewing others, sharing their own or both. At the top of this sub-forum is a thread dedicated to Taurus revolver pictures so feel free to place it there as well if you'd like.

That's some sweet Taurus porn, my man. How's the weight for pocket carry? I'm thinking of the same model in Titanium. For reference, the SS is 24 oz, the TT is 16 oz.

It is a little heavey for pocket carry, but it can be done. It is 23oz according to the mothership website. I am going to get a pocket holster and try it out. I haven't really tried carrying it yet in the pocket.
