Hey everyone. I have owned a few Taurus revolvers in the past but currently only own one 85. I am pretty happy with the little gun and have put over a thousand rounds through it in the 5 years since I bought it and thought I would come over here and see what's new in the world of Taurus.

Welcome from Wisconsin.

The 85 is one of the Taurus bread and butter guns that works well.
Yeah I believe you are right. I am an admitted and unabashed Ruger fan and I own a couple Smith and Wesson revolvers too but the only snubby I still own is the 85. I have no need or desire to replace it with anything more expensive or newer because the 85 just works and works. My brother and Mom also own 85's and like mine they have been fantastic guns with not a single failure.

Welcome from Oklahoma . If you like snubs have a look at the 617 and the 817. Both are 7 shots . One chambered in .357 and the other 38sp. both are awesome looking . I own the 617 and it is a great gun .
