I just bought a TCP with the "blued" slide. It doesn't look like any kind of bluing I've ever seen, it looks more like a coating of some sort. Does anyone know exactly what Taurus did to the surface of my slide?
Reason I ask is I wanted to round off a few sharp edges (that Taurus should have already done). In hind sight I should have gotten the stainless slide as then it's not an issue to do a little grinding and polishing...
