Anyone strip a 709 trigger assembly from the frame? I did this pretty easily with my Sigma to polish some parts, etc., but I wasn't sure about the 709 thumb safety getting in the way of the process. Thoughts/comments welcome. Thanks.

I have a 709 with a STIFF trigger! 9 pound pull in SA. Please post pics and instructions if you find how to do it. Hope you find what you need.

Have you tried wearing the trigger in a bit with snap caps? It won't make a huge difference in weight of pull, but it will get your muscle memory up with the gun and you may not notice it too much anymore.

A 9lb pull in SA is a lot IMO. I'd dig in there for a reason and a way to reduce it. I'm having a like problem with a 945. I'd be in it but I'm afraid of ruining roll-pins.
