If I understand this right the suppressor is a $200 tax stamp and if you want the VFG its an additional $5 tax stamp, and they have to install the VFG.

Are you sure it is not both? You can have multiple tax stamps involved with one weapon. For example a short barrel rifle with a can.

Thats how I'm reading it.

The way I read this, if I buy it as a silencer, $200, and put the grip on myself, AOW, another $5.
If they manufacture it WITH THE GRIP, AOW, $5. Not a silencer now.

Anyway, only works with threaded pistol barrels, not any pistol as inferred.

Don't know about the tax.

I like the rig and it would be cool if the suppressor had a front sight.
