i just bought it used and cant find a model number on it.
is there any way to tell when it was made and what model it is ?
im wanting to put a scope on it so i want to order the correct kit.
it doesn't have raging bull on it so im guessing its an older model

look at wilson combat for a scope mount, they have them around $30

I have one idetical except for in stainless, great shooting weapon. Here is a picture of my target about 30 min ago at 10 yrds

That's a really nice looking revolver...looks as if it is a "low-mileage, one-owner, creampuff"!:thumb:

Yup, what T-9 said, it's a Model 44. There should be a 44 stamped on the crane. Just swing out the cylinder and look on the frame where the crane closes. I've got the Stainless Steel version of your gun. I've always liked the blue ones!

i think this is the mount i need Taurus Scope Mount M608/M44 6.5", Taurus 10026
i can seem to find someone who has them in stock i googled searched too
thx for any direction u can point me
