Hi
I purchased a 6" 357 model 66 a few months ago. I have put 300 - 400 rounds through it, 357 and 38 special. Shoots great and is extremely accurate. I noticed when cleaning and when firing it single action that there is a strange click, slight catch, and gritty feel when cocking the hammer. I have (all Taurus) a 2" 38, a 3" 38, a 4" 357, and a 4" 22lr. I have not noticed this feel in any of those. I own a number of revolvers and semi autos but it seems that I lean toward Taurus overall and have for about 25 years. Any ideas as to what is causing this strange feel in cocking?
Thanks for the help.
