Notice the REVIEWS by the police officers.

Blows a large hole in the "police don't use Taurus in this country" crowd.

I've presented evidence like it at THR and TFL, but here is a larger source.

Yes, I've used some evidence from here before.

This just makes things a bit sweeter.

Update: I updated the link.

Price seems a little on the high side considering I purchased mine new from Academy last year for about $75 less

Definitely! Have seen quite a few Taurus Pistols in the hands of Private Security as well.

Many Taurus Pistols are on the "Approved List" of many LE departments, large and small, where Officers must purchase and maintain their own Firearms. There is actually a trend towards the "Approved List" due to the fact that many LE Agencies are choosing not to have Department Armorers with the possible exception of the SWAT or DE Teams.

Thanks for the link. Its good to know.

I just took my very first Taurus (24/7 Pro C in .40S&W) to the range finally over the weekend. It ran beautifully. Used 5 different types of ammo from WWB/Tula/Fiochi/Freedom munitions reloads and finished it off with 20 Golden Sabers. Not one ftf/fte. Put about 150 rounds through it. If I was a LEO I would have zero reservations using this.
