so today i bought a 24/7 gen 2 chambered in .40 S&W. I've been researching taurus for years and was waiting for them to become the new milspec. handgun. Ok so here's the deal i do not really like the white three dot sights and would like to replace the rear with an open sight such as a partridge or U notch. does anyone know where to find them or if they exist for this handgun?

I don't know enought about the new G2 to tell you if the dovetails are the same size as the old 24/7 Pro 3rd gen or not. I suspect not.....you probably will have to wait until somebody starts producing them. I haven't heard much (yet) on aftermarket stuff for these very new guns.

In the meantime, just run as much ammo through it as you can, and enjoy it. Congrats !

Nope, the sights on the 24/7 G2's are not the same/same size as those on the 24/7 Pro's.

Congrats on the new 24/7. Being a noob, my mind's not yet made up on the 3 dot Heine sights - they seem okay to me, but I'll be keen to see what you come up with.
