Does anyone know where you can purchase 24/7 9mm replacement barrels. IF possible I would like like to look into purchasing a replacement with porting. I noticed a small notch in the rifling in my barrel. I am hopping it is dirt, but I am unable to remove it thus far. Thanks!

If it is truly a defect, you know Taurus would fix it, or replace it. But isn't the barrel serialized in the 24/7,as part of the whole gun, just like in my PT111 Pro.

Of course, if you just want the ported barrel, I guess your on your own.

If you have a small pit/defect in your barrel/rifling, unless it's within 1/2 inch of the Muzzle, it probably won't hurt anything, performancewise.

For heavy fouling, I use heavy patches soaked with Noxon7 Metal Polish/Cleaner. This generally removes any and all Lead, Copper, and Carbon. Just don't go too nuts with it and use it all the time, although it won't hurt anything. I only use it every 500 rounds as a general rule.

This morning I asked a guy at Taurus what the tolerances were for an out of round 24/7 Pro 45 chamber. He said, "I don't know. Send it in and I'll replace it." Apparently serialization isn't that big a problem.
