I recently bought a gently used 24/7 pro in 9nn.I love this gun and want to make it my carry piece but after a 100 round range session I noticed that the SA was not engaging it fired just fine but only in DA which is ok with me since I like it better. I inspected it and the nub that catches the striker is gone. The gun functions fine and Im thinking about not sending it in since I have heard horror stories about customer service. I have NO money to spend sending thsi in since Im between jobs and got some storm damage to deal with. Should I leave it the way it is?

Does it look something like this? My son's 24/7 Pro did this a couple of years ago.....

Personally I would send it in. If you were just gonna use it for a range gun then do whatever. You mentioned carrying it. I think a lawyer would take you to the cleaners if you had to use it to defend yourself. I would do a very throughout check of it making sure nothing else is wrong with it and then send it in.
