Hello,

I have a Taurus 24/7 Pro Compact DS .40 and I noticed that the gun leaves a indent trail on primer rounds. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and if it's normal.. I have a picture below of the primers for reference.

Yes, that has come a time or two. I saw it on one of my guns early on, just not lately. It's a timimg thing, where the firing pin doesn't retract as quickly as you'd like it to before the ejector kicks the hull out. As long as the shells eject nicely I wouldn't worry about it other than thinking about a deep cleaning job in the firing pin channel next time.

I yield to better heads on this.

Pretty Normal! Actually, a lot of other handguns do that, too! Nothing to worry about.
