I recently purchased a NIB 24/7. The shop had a firing range, so I immediately ran 50 rounds thru it with absolutely no problems and am well pleased with its accuracy. However, when I broke it down at home to clean it, I noticed some minor scratching which I am fairly sure was not there when purchased.

At the 11:00 o'clock position on the bullet feed ramp ( when viewed from the bullet's perspective ) there is some minor scratching which appears as if it might have been caused by the extractor.

My question is whether or not this is normal, or the signs of some future problems like failure to feed or extract properly?

I had the same problem but mine was do to me not puting the "breakdown" pin back in the barrel when reassembly and the firing pin hiting it on the 11 o'clock position but that was just the first time i field stripped it and not knowing the correct procedure i would not really worry about it but if you are uncomfortable with it take it to a gunsmith it is a easy to problem
