Hey everybody,

Sorry if this has already been covered, but I am looking to buy some spare magazines for my 24/7 G2 Compact. I can conceal it well with the extended 17 round mag that it came with, so I would like to have a few spares for range time and just in case I have a problem with one. I can find the spare mag in the Taurus catalog, but when I Google the part number, it only brings up 3 results and all of which are links to said catalog. I guess I could give Taurus a call and see if I could buy straight from them, but I would love to get them from Cheaperthandirt.com or someone else so I can place one big order for all the things I think I need. Any help would be appreciated.

BTW this is my first Taurus, took it to the range for the first time last weekend and went through 100 rounds of Federal Champion and 17 rounds of some reloaded hollow points flawlessly. I am very happy with it.

Called up Taurus customer service, and you can buy the 17 round mag for the full size for about $40 + $5 for shipping, and you still need the magazine sleeve which I did not price, because I pretty much had beg the lady on the phone for any little detail. I guess I'm going to wait for some of the aftermarket companies to make something and hope they work.

Welcome to the forum. That reminds me of the time when it was not easy to obtain extra mags for the MilPro's and 24/7 compacts even though they had been around for a few years. Don't expect to get the Taurus parts from 3rd party makers. Promag is the only company that makes the aftermarket magazines for a few Tarus pistols but their mags did not work quite well at least for the PT145 that I own.
