I just fired my new 24/7 g2 .45 today and was pleased with its performance with the exception that it randomly goes to DA after a shot is fired. I guess it isnt a BIG deal except I dont know where the trigger is until i start to press trigger slightly. I am by no means an experienced handgunner and i was curious if anyone thought it may be operator error or if firearm needs service. I also thought the trigger was just a tad "gritty" in DA while staging it but the gun was given a thorough cleaning before use... any suggestions?

Welcome from Texas and congrats on the 24/7 G2 .45! Did you clean the striker assembly and the firing pin channel?

Thanks, Taurus10, the firing pin channel was not cleaned in the sense of removing pin and cleaning it out. i did spray aerosol type gun cleaner into the area to flush any boogers out of there. maybe i need to remove pin and try again? this would explain the "gritty" trigger feel but not the firearm going to DA after shot fired, correct?
