So, with the shortage of ammo, one has to get creative and think outside the box. Local guns shops are out. Wally-World gets in 10 boxes a week (maybe) and it is gone before it gets out of the box. There is the local Farm & Home supply, but same issues, none.

Scored some rounds today. Am out of town for the weekend. Made an ammo run to the local small-town fishing/liquor/gun shops. First place was out, but sent me to their main store in the next town over, 9 miles away. Drove over and they have some. I got 300 rounds for $3.80 box/50.

They had more, for the same and varying prices, but I left it for others to enjoy.

Don't want to be a hoarder. I have 1000 rounds on order, due to show up in a few weeks.

Don't give up!

I found ammo in a small gun shop. The owner said he saw this comming and started stockpiling in July! He had pretty much all calibers.

Reloading is now in the same boat. I found bullets available on Cabelas website last night trolling to add to my stash. Found a good bunch listed in stock including 147 gr 9mm that I could use for competition reloads ( listed as low stock) - got the order placed and confirmed. Sent notes to a few friends then returned to the site and the only thing left was .400 180gr fmj listed as "okay to backordered". MAN - it's ammo Whack-A-Mole on the web for sure!!!
