Hope you dont end up with the 2006. I wonder what the person who sent you the 2007 was thinking when shipping it to you? Lets see.. is this 2007? Hmmmmmm

Oh mighty MOD, have you tried to read that sucker. there are so many problems in the online version, as to make some sections totally unreadable.

I am still waiting too. Maybe it will be in the mail when I get home today.

I can read it fine. Maybe you need to update your Adobe Acrobat Reader?
I zoom in to 115% to get a larger font also.

Yeah, well take a look at the right side of page 51. If you can read the stuff in the box, about pressures your a better man than me. That is the most obvious error. :???: Mine was set at 150, checked at 75 and 125.

I'm kinda stuck on the 800 series pages along with the M856.

At 200% I can read it but its difficult. It looks like the online version is a mediocre copy of the catalog.

That is the only reason, I ordered a hard copy. I am used to better PDF files than that.

The final product our business creates is sent to our clients as high res Acrobat files, so I know a thing or two about them. The Taurus catalog was created by turning the pages into low res images. That is why the text looks so pixelated. There isn't any text, just a low res image of the text. Upgrading your Acrobat Reader will not make any difference.

Whoever created the catalog could have made it much easier to read version by Distilling it with different settings that included imbedded text. This would allow us to zoom in as much as we want and the text would remain crisp. Plus, it would have been a lot smaller than 8.66 Mb.

As I heard Sean Connery once say, "There endeth the lesson." Now, let's get this thread back on topic.

Guess I'll resubmit I like a hard copy of anything over the net version.

I got mine last week. 2008 version. Nothing in it about the 700 series pistols like I was hoping.
