My 92 came with a nifty 19 round magazine that has what looks like a hand grip extension. I would love to get a second one of these but i cant locate any on the net. Anyone know were i could get another of these magazines?

Brand new. Out of the box. Never been caressed by anybody but me LOL

Hmm. I thought they only shipped with 17rd mags. A 19 nib is news to me. I find all my 92 mags at lgs and dig throught their old boxes of stuff. I figure they were old trade in mags and never left with the gun they belonged to.

The pistol came with 2 magazines a standard 15 round and the 19 round. Entire set up with tax was like 400 and some change

Sounds like it's a Taurus factory mag in that case. Not to be a downer (and I'm guessing) but how do you spell 'back ordered'?!

Yeah, that's got Academy's fingerprints all over it. Since it came from the factory with that, call Taurus.

Force - thanks for the heads up for all but - it is now April. In today's environment a week (an hour!) is a really long time. It's good that interested parties have a possible supplier to call but...

I would be willing to trade my factory 19 rounder for a 17 round mag without the extension. I cant stand that piece of plastic hanging off the end! lol

I have a fairly big hand so the extension fells better. I wished i had a 17 round mag laying around i would trade ya 8)

I have the Mec-Gar 20 round AFC Magazines and love them! Wonder if this "Factory" 19 rounder is the same thing as Mec-Gar makes the Taurus Magazines.

Try calling Taurus customer service. I purchased two of them back in January for $36 each plus shipping.
