19 rd Taurus 94 mag for trade

Is that a factory mag or a replacement one?

Factory mag that comes with the pistol from Academy.

The latest Model PT92 pistols come with a 17 round magazine, while the PT917HC comes with a 20 round magazine. Both are 9mm Luger caliber. I'm thinking that somebody swapped one of the 917HC mags into your PT92. The standard capacity 17 round PT92 mags are flush fitting.

Taurus was pushing the 20 round envelope in the 917HC, and the PT58HC envelope.

If you can't find a Taurus 17 round mag, I have several OEM 15 round mags that I keep as spares, unfired. If all else fails, PM me, and we'll work something out.

Is there anyway you could post a photo of this mag in your PT92? I would sure like to get a look at it to see if it is in fact the mag for the PT917.
As I have both I can more than likely work out a swap with you. I am assuming that you would like a Taurus mag rather than an aftermarket....correct?

The only Taurus mag that I know that fits into a PT92, and extends below the frame, would belong to the PT917.

Let me try to clear up the confusion I seem to have caused. This mag came with my Taurus 92AF which was purchased from Academy. The box itself is factory marked 92AF 19 shot. P{erhaps these were packed special for Academy. The mag itself is stamped PT92/99/917 CAL. 9mm - Made in Brazil. And yes, I would rather have a taurus mag than an aftermarket.

I have one of those too, that came with this year's Black Friday 92. They furnished one normal mag and one 19 round mag that has a tapered plastic extended floor plate. It is a little weird looking. I bought some MEC-GARs for extras, but the plastic floor plate on those extends forward of the front strap a bit and also looks a little weird.

I have 2 each PT917 with 2 mags each. I also have 2 PT92 with a total of 10+ mags, just let me know what you want to do. I'm kind of like Gumby..I'm flexible.

Yes, I'm sure that 2 extra rounds could come in handy in some situations. But I have this OCD issue and the extended mag really bothers me.
