Which Millennium are you shooting? Looks like a successful range trip!
Perfecta is normally what I use in my pistols, when I can get it. Seems the secret is out on it so it's hard to find occasionally.Today, I brought four different varieties to the range:
115 grain Perfecta FMJ
124 grain Remington FMJ
147 grain Sig hollow points
? grain lightweight frangible ARX
Each and every one fired without a hiccup. Surprisingly, I did the best with the cheap Perfecta. Gotta like that.
Yep! For a short time I was able to score perfecta at my local Wallyworld in Cave Creek. Good stuff and reasonably priced at that time. However I've haven't seen it in well over a year.Great range rep. Yeah, Perfecta was the Go-to economy brass .223. Walmarts in Phoenix, AZ region no longer even have the labels on the shelf for it.
I spoke to a senior Sporting Goods DH at the Walmart I frequent, and she stated that Perfecta and Walmart are no longer in contract. So, I doubt you'll see much more of it at Wally world. Shame, as it was a clean, good, inexpensive brass .223 that my AR was routinely fed in the beginning. Well over a grand of that stuff through it.
That sounds exactly right, as to when I stopped seeing it, too.FreeInAz said:Yep! For a short time I was able to score perfecta at my local Wallyworld in Cave Creek. Good stuff and reasonably priced at that time. However I've haven't seen it in well over a year.![]()
