Hey there I purchased a pt1911 9mm now I’m finding it’s hard to find extra magazines. Will any aftermarket magazine work for it??? Been looking at a couple of options but don’t want to order something that won’t work.

A friend of mine has recently bought a PT140 Millennium Pro Gen 1 model in .40 and I cant find mags anywhere that for the Gen 1 model or any that aren't ridiculously overpriced, so I was wondering if there were mags from other gun models that could work in it.

I know people have grinded down the pinky extension from their stock millennium g2 mags but has anyone tried swapping the baseplate with another model(such as the pt92, pt911, pt111, 24/7) that is flush fitting with no pinky extension?
