Lately, I've started having an "odd" problem, that just doesn't make sense to me.
Before that, history:
Extractor, Tigger Bar, Trigger Safety and Trigger Spring replaced by Taurus @ 5200 rounds
Sear, Sear Spring and Firing Pin replaced by Taurus @ 5700 rounds
Now at 6700 rounds
At the range...
My PT145 has been running great.
After a cleaning from a range visit, the striker won't reset.
It sits inside the back part of the barrel but won't retreat back in after the trigger is pulled for DA. The SA works fine: just rack the slide and the pin comes out.
I have a .45 laser for it that...
This is my first gun, I'm brand new to this.
So A few days ago I picked up my Taurus PT 24 / 7 G2 C.
I had previously disassembled it a few times, but for some reason I can't break it down now.
I showed it to my brother and he must have done something to it because now it's weird...
If your Taurus 24/7 G2 does not stay in single action during a mag change, it is FAULTY. get it fixed or replaced. Having to pull the trigger before releasing the slide to keep it in SA is DANGEROUS and NOT a normal condition.
The ONLY three ways to put your gun back in double action are #1...
