The easiest way is to host your photo's on an internet sight like Photobucket.com.

Is there any update or news about why JPG images that are uploaded (small files) are still only shown as links?

I know that this has been discussed before, but it used to work flawlessly.

    Thanks!

I'll stick in my two cents Photobucket et al are handy for posting pictures. One problem...there's nothing I hate more than researching a very difficult problem, finding a great spot on thread on the issue and all the pictures are blank. That's because who ever had them changed their picture site, decided to delete them etc. So you have all this great stuff out there and the pics are gone forever. That's why I post all of mine direct and will never use a photo site.

Well that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it lol!

Update - due to the issues we've had recently with Photobucket, Imageshack, etc. and links being invalidated or being obsolete, the current suggestion is that you upload pics directly from your computer into the thread using the Manage Attachments button when you create a post. This is especially the case if you are showing a procedure or how-to on how to do something with a particular model gun, because if we sticky the post, then the pictures disappear later on, we don't have much choice other than to unsticky a post that was helpful but is now unfortunately useless.

When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."
