Somebody here help me understand the forum rules.

I posted here about a national candidate that publicly stated he will take all AR-15s and AK-47s from citizens. I thought this was a firearms related issue and appropriate for this forum section. I received a notification that another forum member "liked" what I posted. When I tried to click to see the details, I was informed that I don't have permission to see this anymore. In the past when I accidently crossed the line on forum rules I got a PM with a stern warning. I never got a warning or an explanation. What's up?

You did not cross any lines. Your thread was moved to the Politics forum, because it is a political subject about a candidate's announcement, rather than a discussion about firearms per se.

Even this thread doesn’t belong in the FiringLine.
