    Double Photos

What's the fix for double photo posts?

I prefer the “Manage Attachments” feature under “Go Advanced”. I haven’t ever had this issue using it.

I'll give it a try but wonder why I need to use a "workaround" for such a simple task?

I've tried the manage attachments route and it does not work for me.
I don't know why but believe me I have tried.
I get a double photo about 40% of the time.
The only way I can post a single photo is to snip it, stick it on
my desktop and then use the insert image icon to post it.
Someone changed something a while back that changed the way
the insert icon works. It worked perfectly for all of us until a year or so ago.

If you use the "manage attachments" route, make sure to reduce the size of your pictures. The "insert Image" function will automatically reduce the photo size for you. I couldn't explain why, but I've got a sneakin suspicion that picture/file size is a contributing factor to the double picts problem.

I do the same but still occasionally get a dubbil. CJS3 may be onto something there, I'll have to start paying attention to the size when I post 'em. Posting from home, I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager to resize but at work, Paint is all I have to resize with so it's kinda' piss 'n' miss. Thinkin' back, I believe most of the dubs happen when I post from work. On the other hand, if there are two pics, I can just look at one with each eye and it doesn't wear out the pic so fast. Eyesight is abrasive, ya' know.
