    Carrying an old model 66?

Interested in getting a carry permit but the cost down here is kinda expensive, so my only carry option is my 4" M66. It's not the weight of the gun that bothers me so much as the grip being so large. Is there a more concealable grip that can be be put on the ole' square grip? Also, what concealable holsters do you M66's use?

    Thanks guys and girls!

Pachmayr Professional grips are a little more subtle than the original walnut blocks, but not by much.

DeSantis makes a fine concealable pancake style holster with a snap option or open retention.

I've got a Smith & Wesson M65 on my belt as I type. Your Taurus is the same size revolver. Mine wears Pachmayr Compacts and rides in a Bianchi pancake style holster. I have been concealing it under an untucked T shirt all day. So... yes you can carry your Taurus concealed.

Thanks guys, I'll have to give the Pachmayrs a try. Do they affect shooting at the range?

Absolutely! Much more comfortable than the original wood grips, along with improved control.

Definitely go with the Pachmarys I have been using them for years and have never found a reason not to like them. I found a set for your revolver on eBay for very reasonable money. I told someone else on the forum about them too, so you might want to jump on them if he hasn't already.
