I prefer the old Uncle Mike's if you can find them.

Does the Taurus combat grips interfere with any speed loaders you use

[QUOTE=righty;816965]Most of you probably have seen these 1000 times...but I could not find any good pictures. So I figured I'd share.
Either of these is easily concealed and control recoil very well from my experience. First is Taurus combat grip available from their customer service.

Next is the Pachmayr compac grip TR

[QUOTE=badge851;820299][COLOR=#0000ff]I don't particularly care for the Hogue

Hey badge851, does any of the grips interfere with using a speedloader? I have a safari land 5rd speedloader I can't use with the SW642 I have because of the SW stock grips! I just got a 605 with stock grips but haven't tried the speedloader yet, just thinking about different grip options

How do you like the Hogue grip on your 605?

I know this is an old thread, but it is for a recent owner. I love wood and boot grips. Anyone have experience with these Pachmayr Taurus Small Frame Wood Revolver Grips I can get them for 35 delivered through Amazon on their 605?

They look nice and for the price, worth the gamble. I have their checkered stocks on my CZ75 Compact and find them to work well. The emblems may fall out so be aware to keep and eye out for them every time you have it out...or start scouting a suitable replacement if you lose one. Maybe a couple of Indian head pennies turned down? Here's my answer to replacing them.

To give you an idea of the wood on an SS 605, here's mine with the grips from Thailand. Similar price, longer wait for receipt. This particular set had some issues with fitment and chipping, the seller made good on the price.

I am tempted to buy a set of the checkered Pachmyr grips shown.

I find the stock rubber grips on my 605 to work particularly well. I like them on my 856 too. Some of the wood ones in this thread are nice looking.

Agreed about the stock rubber bull's head grips. Were I to start shooting 357 Magnum on a regular basis, the pretty wood ones would be relegated to the parts bin in favor of the more shock absorbing grips.
