    Taurus 327

I am contemplating a taurus 327. i understand that they are built on the 85 frame. Does anyone know if the model 85 fits in holsters made for the smith and wesson j frame? i have a few of those and holsters to go with them and was just wondering.

Simple answer, Yes. Oh and welcome to the forum. Stick around, I think you'll like it here.
    Old age isn't for sissy's!!
Don't give up the ship!! Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry!!
Due to the rising cost of ammo. A warning shot will NOT be fired!!

    Re: Taurus 327

I almost bought me a Taurus .327 but I saw the Taurus 617 and got that instead.
The Taurus .327 is built on a light frame which would be great for carry, however,
.327 Federal Magnum would jar you a bit as far as recoil. My 617 is a seven shot
.357 Magnum/.38 snubbie that weighs a little more than the .327 and costs about
the same. I love it, I usually shoot .38 Special for target shooting and I use .38+P
Golden Sabers for self defense loads. That being said, I may still pick up a Taurus
.327 one day when I have a little extra money to throw around.

I have one up for sale with ammo, and wooden grips check out the classifieds section. It is a great little gun, but does have some kick...

    Re: Taurus 327

I've been wondering about how the recoil was in the 327. I'd wait until ammo was a little more plentiful.
