    Shopping

Interested in getting a 905 (9mm) none available here in S. Texas currently. How do they compare with the M85 in size?

Don't know for sure, but they do look really close. I know it's not much to go on, but I do know that the grips are the same, should you want to replace or upgrade them.

You would think that if the grips are the same the rest should be as well? Wonder how it compairs with the Charter Arms 9mm!

The size difference is negligible. Specs show the 905 is about .090" taller and .030" wider but I doubt you ever notice the difference when carrying. Only way I'd ever choose the 38 over the 9 is if I was looking for the lightest available which would be the M85 Ultralite, and then only if you reload.

Can't help you on the Charter Arms. The 85, 856, 905 and so on, are very similar in size to the Smith & Wesson J-frame.
