    3" Blued 605?

Standing around at a local pistol range yesterday I spotted a good-looking revolver in the gun case. It was marked Taurus 605, .357, factory refurb., $350.

It looks like a 3" barrel to me, and also blued, not black oxide as the new ones are finished. It has Taurus branded rubber grips. Wish I had taken a picture.

I didn't ask to handle it so I don't have the serial number or know the condition of the barrel, lockup, etc.

Since I already own a 3" steel Taurus .357 I really don't need this thing, but it's SO pretty. Don't know how that price compares in the current market.

    Any thoughts?

Most makers don't seem to want to do a decent polish job on them anymore, but will gladly give you a nice "up charge" if you do want a nice blue/polished finish. Those days are gone now I guess. Would have like to have seen a pic of the gun.

Blind opinion I'd say that price sounds awesome. I'd think that in a pinch you could sell it off for more than that on a private sale.
